Honda Cars To Become More Expensive From April: Honda Elevate, City And Amaze To See Price Increase; Check Details

Honda Cars India is getting ready to make its cars costlier from April 2024 onwards. This will be the second time they are increasing prices, with the first hike happening in January. This change might be because of different economic reasons affecting the car industry. The upcoming price rise will impact all three of Honda’s models: Elevate, City, and Amaze. Though the exact percentage of the price increase hasn’t been announced yet, a report from HT Auto says that more information will come out next month.

The Honda Amaze, which is seen as the most affordable option, currently starts at Rs 7.16 lakh. On the other hand, the Elevate, a more high-end choice, starts at Rs. 11.58 lakh. The Honda City, a popular pick among buyers, has a base price of Rs. 11.71 lakh, while the City e:HEV hybrid version starts from Rs. 18.89 lakh, all prices being ex-showroom.

Meanwhile, Honda is offering special deals for March 2024 to attract customers with good offers. These deals include discounts of up to Rs. 50,000 on the Elevate and benefits of up to Rs. 90,000 on the Amaze. However, the Honda City has the highest discounts, offering savings of up to Rs. 1.20 lakh for March.

Customers are advised to wait for the official announcement about the price increase before making decisions about buying a car.

Overview of Honda’s Latest Car Models Honda has introduced some exciting new models in the market, each with unique features and performance. The Honda Amaze, for example, has a 1.2-litre petrol engine that gives 89 bhp of power and 110 Nm of peak torque. This compact sedan comes in both CVT and manual options, catering to different driving styles. On the other hand, the Honda City is available in SV, V, VX, and ZX trims and runs on a 1.5-litre petrol engine producing 119 bhp and 145 Nm of torque.

In 2023, Honda launched the Elevate model, powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine. This new addition competes with popular models like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, and Volkswagen Taigun in its segment. With a focus on performance, design, and technology, Honda continues to impress car enthusiasts with its range of vehicles.
